Long Exposure Calculator does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything you do in the app stays entirely on your device. We have no servers, no accounts, and no analytics.

What Data the App Stores

The app stores the following data locally on your device only. None of this data is ever sent anywhere.

Location Data

The app requests location access ("While Using the App" only) for two purposes:

Golden hour calculation — your coordinates are used to compute sunrise, sunset, and golden hour times using an on-device algorithm. No network request is made.
Shot log tagging — when you complete a timer session, your GPS coordinates may be saved alongside the shot entry so you can remember where you were. This data stays on your device.

Location access is entirely optional. If you deny permission, the app works fully — you simply won't see golden hour information or location tags.

Third-Party Services

Long Exposure Calculator uses no third-party SDKs, analytics, crash reporting, advertising frameworks, or external services of any kind. The app makes zero network requests.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share any data with anyone. There is no data to share — we never have access to it in the first place.

Children's Privacy

The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. Since no data is collected at all, the app is safe for users of all ages.

Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

You can delete individual Shot Log entries or filters at any time within the app.
Uninstalling the app permanently removes all stored data.
There is no cloud backup or remote copy to worry about.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change our data practices (for example, by adding analytics or advertising in a future version), we will update this policy before the change takes effect and note the revision date above.
